Bahrain Operations

Staring Rent A Car operations in Bahrain hopefully in a maximum period of 45 days. Inshallah.
Office space is inside Dana Mall. Need to do the renovation of the space. Initial fleet will be taken from Doha to Bahrain.
Inshallah will have to start at the earliest, as enquiries from companies are there!!

Musherib Office

Our Rent A Car office in Musherib street's (the famous Shahra Kaharbaa street) electricity & water got disconnected yesterday as part of the city expansion plan "The Doha City". Making way for the development. But whatever it may be the demolition is sad because we started our Rent A Car business 40 years ago at this place and this place is very dear to us.

My father and Uncle have toiled a lot, put in their efforts, good times and bad times too. I too started my career here. Went there and saw today, had emotions when i went to the room where i used to work. 

But what to do, nothing can be done. As the saying goes "The show must go on..".

Bizz 2011, Orlando

Started off to Orlando with Fazil to attend the World Confederation of Businesses, a forum to get to know new people & business houses and also an award function. Al Muftah Rent A Car has been considered as an Elite Membership in WORLDCOB.
It's a two day event at Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Hotel, Orlando on 24th & 25th June 2011.

PhD Interview

June 7, 2011

Attended AIMA – AMU telephonic interview today by 12:00 (QST). One think that was very impressive about the interview is that they were very well versed with my background, the course I studies, from where I studies, my present work place location etc.  

Then the regular question “ why do you want to do PhD” and what are the changes that you intend on bringing after getting the PhD.

Alhamdurillah. The interview went on well. They asked to check the website for the results after two or three days.

AIMA CME

Received email from AIMA stating that I have being shortlisted for interview following the RMAT exam held recently. Frankly speaking now butterflies in my stomach, tension as what to do next, how to go about it, whats the topic that i will select etc.
Still my freind Harish is being inspirational and asking me to proceed and go ahead. Actually we both had applied together, but he couldnt travel with me to Delhi for the xam due to chicken pox.
Inshallah, will proceed and see whats next. Already sent the fees for interview.

Success Diary

Busy since last week with Lensman Dubai, as they are preparing a program called Success Diary to be aired in Jeevan TV. What they intend to do through this program is to show successful business houses and people from Kerala.

Mr. Umesh, Mr. Yousaf and Mr. Mohan Pudussery (Cameraman) are in Doha to cover our Rent A Car operations, doing interview with Uppa, Najippa, me, Fazil and other key staff.

Completion of 40 years of operations in Doha, efforts to branch out, future plans etc needs to be coevred and addressed.

6th May 2011
Had gone to Delhi to attend RMAT examination to apply for PhD. Reached Delhi and was received by my friend Harish's in laws. The examination was on 7th May 2011 and was held in a center in Noida. Huge rush and lots of aspirants those who have toiled and prepared hard. Exam went on well.
What touched me was the reception and the affection shown to me by Mr. J.P. Singh (Harish's brother in law) and his family. He was very helpful and he personally took time from his busy schedule to take me around. May Almighty bless him in all what he does and wish him well.
Have promised that i will visit him &his family again with my family for vacation and spend more time together. Inshallah

A young Woman who was several months pregnant was sittin in a bus. When she noticed a young man smiling at her she began feeling humiliated on account of her condition.

She changed h er seat & he seemed more amused.

She moved again and then on seeing him laughing more, she filed a court case on him.

In the court the Man's defence was: When the lady boarded the bus I couldn't help noticing she was pregnant.

She sat under an advertisement, which read 'Coming Soon- The unknown boon'..

I was even more amused when she then sat under a shaving advertisement, which read: 'William's stick did the trick'..

Then I could not control myself any longer, when on the third move she sat under an advertisement, which read: 'Dunlop Rubber would have prevented this accident..

The case was dismissed.the judge fell off his chair laughing.=))

Went and saw ""Christian brothers" from City Centre.A horrible movie, a movie with good star cast but very well wasted. director Joshi has lost his complete touch!!

For the time in history a wicketkeeper Captain will lift the World Cup!! Way to go MS Dhoni......
& Sachin will leave in Golden mark in Mumbai, his hometown ....

Watched the semi finals of World Cup Cricket between India and Pakistan. A superb match, well played by both the teams.

On Saturday, 2^nd April 2011, India will meet Sri Lanka in the finals. Well that’s a match to look forward to!! India will win this match too and the MS Dhoni will become the most successful captain in the history of Indian Cricket.
